Basketball Recap: Oak Hill Comes Up Short

Oak Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 47-35 to the Clay Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Oaks of the 40-39 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Oak Hill's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Clay, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4.

Oak Hill won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against South Gallia at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clay, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Clay Panthers challenge the Glenwood Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
