Lincoln County extended their home winning streak to four games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Rogan Lytle. The Lions snuck past the Loyola-Sacred Heart Rams with a 36-30 victory on Friday thanks in part to Lytle, who rushed for 248 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 40 yards and one touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making nine total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Loyola-Sacred Heart's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Owen Felton, who picked up 37 receiving yards and one score, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. Another signal caller making a difference was Andrew Richardson, who threw for 109 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes.

Lincoln County's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Loyola-Sacred Heart, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Coming up, Lincoln County will head out to take on Florence-Carlton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Loyola-Sacred Heart, they will challenge Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams will need to watch out since the Scotties have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
