Softball Recap: West Hills Wolf Pack vs. El Capitan Vaqueros

It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but West Hills ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past the El Capitan Vaqueros 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wolf Pack have posted since February 28th.

Maddie Aylesbury spent all nine innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and one unearned) runs on ten hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
