Baseball Recap: Montgomery Catholic Falls to Saint James in First Game of Season

Montgomery Catholic had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Saint James Trojans by a score of 4-3 on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Montgomery Catholic saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Levanda, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Montgomery Catholic will square off against Lee-Scott Academy on Monday. As for Saint James, they will host Thorsby at 12:00 p.m. on Monday.
