Fossil Ridge is 9-1 against Rocky Mountain since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Fossil Ridge took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They strolled past Poudre with points to spare, taking the game 47-29.

Meanwhile, Rocky Mountain lost to Windsor at home by a 70-52 margin on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Lobos in their matchups with the Wizards: they've now lost three in a row.

Fossil Ridge's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.3 points per game. As for Rocky Mountain, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 10-5.

Fossil Ridge didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Rocky Mountain in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 51-47 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Rocky Mountain's Sara Chicco, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine boards.
