While Slidell's win against Holden wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Slidell Tigers had just enough and edged out the Holden Rockets 4-2. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Slidell's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Holden, they dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Slidell has already played their next game, an 8-3 victory against Pearl River on the 6th. As for Holden, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 13-10 win against Albany on the 6th.
