Softball Recap: Columbus Comes Up Short

Columbus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Ridgeland Titans, falling 28-21. The Falcons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Titans from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Columbus' loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Ridgeland, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Titans beat Columbus by a score of 31-20 later that day.
