Softball Recap: Avery County Takes a Loss

The Vikings have struggled against the Mountaineers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Avery County's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Mitchell, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-11.

Coming up, Avery County will face off against University School at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mitchell, they will challenge Owen at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
