Volleyball Recap: Olivet Comes Up Short

Olivet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Lansing Catholic Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 two weeks ago.

Olivet's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Lansing Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 24-6-2 record this season.

Olivet will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Laingsburg at 5:00 p.m. As for Lansing Catholic, they will square off against Gull Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
