Tamaqua suffered their closest loss since December 12, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Pottsville Crimson Tide by a score of 55-52. Even though they lost, the Blue Raiders' still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 50.1 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Despite the loss, Tamaqua still got an impressive performance from Noah Mateyak, who posted 25 points. Another player making a difference was Cooper Ansbach, who put up 12 points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pottsville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Christian Alvarez, who made all 5 shots he took to post 16 points. Ryder Bowers was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Tamaqua is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11. As for Pottsville, they pushed their record up to 10-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Tamaqua didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 69-58 defeat against Lehighton on the 18th. Pottsville has also already played their next game, a 61-56 victory against Palmyra on the 18th.
