Basketball Recap: Rush City Takes a Loss

Rush City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 99-41 loss at the hands of the Spectrum Sting. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 376th, while the Sting are ranked 182nd).

Rush City's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Spectrum, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rush City will venture away from home to challenge Milaca at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Spectrum, they will head out to take on Mayer Lutheran at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
