Soccer Game Preview: Choctaw County vs. Kemper County

The Choctaw County Chargers will head out to face off against the Kemper County Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Choctaw County is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to seven goals last Wednesday, they were much more limited against Winona on Monday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 3-0. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Choctaw County couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Kemper County hadn't done well against Philadelphia recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Wildcats beat the Tornadoes by a goal, winning 2-1.

Kemper County's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Choctaw County, they suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 6-2.

Choctaw County got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in December of 2025 against Kemper County by a conclusive 5-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chargers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
