South Garner piles up the points against Fuquay - Varina

The South Garner Titans stacked a fifth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 66-22 win over Fuquay - Varina. 66 seems to be a good number for South Garner as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

South Garner was led to victory by Taylor Moore and Tamia Darden. Moore dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds, while Darden scored 20 points along with six assists and six rebounds. Moore's trending in the right direction, as she's improved his point production for four games straight. Another player making a difference was Kimaya Barnes, who scored ten points along with seven assists and five rebounds.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Fuquay - Varina struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as South Garner racked up 18 assists.

South Garner's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3. As for Fuquay - Varina, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-14.

Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Corinth Holders the next time they take the court. South Garner will head out to face Corinth Holders at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Fuquay - Varina will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
