It's the ultimate catwalk for college football fans and coaches to clamor. The Opening, in its seventh year at Nike headquarters in Beaverton, Ore., featured most of the country's top 2018 high school football talent. There was a smattering of top incoming juniors and sophomores as well.

By all accounts, Harrison (Kennesaw, Ga.) dual-threat quarterback Justin Fields stole the show among some 150 players, but there were many more impressive performances, including those by cornerback Brendan Radley-Hiles of IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.), tight end Jeremy Ruckert of Lindenhurst (N.Y.) and linebacker Channing Tindall of Spring Valley (Columbia, S.C.).

Jalen Green of Houston Heights (Texas) had an impressive six interceptions in the 7x7 competition.

As usual, Nike athletes helped instruct the budding stars. Among them roaming the facilities was perennial Pro Bowl receiver Odell Beckham Jr.
