While Woodrow Wilson didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victor by a 63-42 margin over the South Charleston Black Eagles on Friday. The Flying Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 21 points or more this season.

Leading Woodrow Wilson to victory were Josie Cross and Abby Dillon. Cross posted 20 points and three blocks, while Dillon went 6 of 9 on her way to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoey Williams, who put up nine points and six rebounds.

The win made it two in a row for Woodrow Wilson and bumps their season record up to 5-1. As for South Charleston, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Woodrow Wilson will host University at 2:45 p.m. on January 10th. As for South Charleston, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 53-36 victory against Rock Hill on the 4th.
