 The Ennis Lions entered their tilt with the Corsicana Tigers with five consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with six. Ennis put the hurt on Corsicana with a sharp  5-1 victory on Friday. The result was nothing new for Ennis, who have now won five games by three  goals or more  so far this season.
 They hit Corsicana with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from 
 Jose Saldana (2), 
 Regan Trojacek, 
 Javier Guerrero,  and 
 Sebastian Hernandez.
 Ennis pushed their record up to 8-2-1 with that  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home. Those victories were due in large part to their  offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  scored 15  goals over those four  matches. As for Corsicana, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6-1.
