With a playoff game on the line, Miller rose to the challenge on Friday. They blew past the Tivy Antlers, posting a 66-28 victory. Considering the Buccaneers have won nine contests by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Broderick Taylor continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 239 yards and five touchdowns on only 14 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 122 rushing yards. Eathan Vela was in the mix too, providing Miller with two touchdowns.

Miller didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Khalil Davis and Corey Holmes. Davis also made four total tackles, which is notable because Miller is undefeated when he posts at least four total tackles, but 1-2 otherwise. Another thorn in Tivy's side was Steven Richardson, who picked up three sacks and made ten total tackles (4.0 for loss).

Miller was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 281 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tivy only rushed for 145.

Several Antlers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Peyton Bailey, who threw for 139 yards and a touchdown while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 50 yards. Another player making a difference was President Calamaco, who picked up 88 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Miller has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.4 points per game. As for Tivy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-5.

Miller will play host again on Friday to welcome Pioneer, where kickoff is scheduled at 7:00 p.m. Pioneer is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 27.2 points per game this season. Tivy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
