Basketball Recap: Siletz Valley Takes a Loss

Siletz Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 53-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Glendale Pirates.

Siletz Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Glendale, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Siletz Valley will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Eddyville at 5:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Glendale and McKenzie will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Glendale is facing McKenzie at the right time seeing as McKenzie is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
