Prospect Ridge Academy won the last time they faced The Academy and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Miners walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Wildcats. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Miners.

Prospect Ridge Academy's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Liam Schilling, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. The Miners are undefeated when Schilling posts two or more runs, but 4-6 otherwise.

Prospect Ridge Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for The Academy, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-11.

Looking ahead, Prospect Ridge Academy will challenge Denver Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for The Academy, they will be playing at home against Fort Morgan at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
