It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Fowler had no problem doing just that on Friday. They put the hurt on the Tehachapi Warriors with a sharp 10-1 victory. Considering the Redcats have won 19 games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Fowler's win was their 12th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 27-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Tehachapi, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 24-8.

Looking ahead, Fowler will face off against Morro Bay at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Redcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pirates have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season. Tehachapi does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
