There's no place like home for New London, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past the West Burlington Falcons 9-8. While the Tigers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

New London's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for West Burlington, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.
