Softball Recap: Rice Comes Up Short

Rice fell victim to Grandview and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 18-0 to the Zebras. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Zebras: they've now lost five in a row.

Rice now has a losing record of 8-9-1. As for Grandview, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 22-3.

While Rice had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
