Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cypress Ranch). They claimed a resounding 83-43 win over the Waller Bulldogs. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 152nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 1175th), the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Cypress Ranch has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Waller, they are on a 22-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-26.
