Football Recap: Noah Koza's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Burncoat over North + How To Watch

After flying high against Worcester Tech last Friday, Burncoat came back down to earth. The Patriots took a 36-20 bruising from the North Polar Bears on Friday. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Polar Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Burncoat's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noah Koza, who rushed for 72 yards and one TD on only ten carries. Richard Abalo was another key rusher, rushing for 72 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries.

Burncoat's record now sits at 4-6. As for North, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3.

Burncoat and North will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Patriots see the field they'll take on Doherty Memorial at 10:00 a.m. on the 27th. As for North, their break will end when they face South at 12:00 p.m. on the 26th.
