Softball Recap: Alma Center Lincoln Takes a Loss

Alma Center Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Independence/Gilmanton Indees, falling 14-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Hornets' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Alma Center Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Independence/Gilmanton, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Alma Center Lincoln didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 14-4 loss against Melrose-Mindoro on the 25th. As for Independence/Gilmanton, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-4 defeat against Pepin/Alma on the 25th.
