Streamwood had won three straight home games and Heewon Yang did his part to make it four on Tuesday. The Sabres had just enough and edged out the West Aurora Blackhawks 2-1 for which the team can thank Yang, who had 27 digs and two assists. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Streamwood got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 25-23, 33-31.

Streamwood has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for West Aurora, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.

Streamwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Elk Grove on the 23rd. West Aurora has also already played their next game (against Lake Park), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
