Basketball Recap: Conemaugh Township Piles Up the Points Against River Valley

Conemaugh Township strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They claimed a resounding 67-36 victory over the River Valley Panthers. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 31 points or more this season.

Conemaugh Township got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Colin Dinyar out in front who went 6-for-14 to rack up 21 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Dinyar is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last nine games he's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Stephen Stango, who shot 75% from the field on his way to 14 points in addition to five assists and five steals.

Conemaugh Township's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for River Valley, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-2.
