Softball Recap: Clear Lake Victorious

Clear Lake proved they can win big on Friday (they won by ten) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Clark Cougars, sneaking past 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Falcons have posted since April 1, 2025.

The win got Clear Lake back to even at 3-3. As for Clark, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Clear Lake has already played their next game, a 7-0 victory against Bellaire on the 17th. As for Clark, they will challenge McCollum at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cowboys have averaged an impressive 12 runs per game this season.
