Volleyball Recap: Bella Campbell and Avery Jaeger Secure Win for the Classical Academy

The Classical Academy won the last time they faced Falcon and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Titans walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Falcons. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

The Classical Academy was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-8, 21-25, 25-19.

Leading The Classical Academy to victory were Avery Jaeger and Bella Campbell. Jaeger had 51 assists and ten digs, while Campbell had 13 digs. Those ten digs gave Jaeger a new career-high.

The Classical Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 23 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in eight consecutive matches.

The Classical Academy's record is now 12-2. As for Falcon, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 12-5.

Looking ahead, The Classical Academy will take on Elizabeth at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Falcon, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Sierra at 6:00 p.m. The Falcons are facing the Stallions at the right time seeing as the Stallions are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
