Basketball Recap: Victory Christian Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Victory Christian had won two straight games and Luke Smith did his part to make it three on Monday. The Victory Christian Vikings breezed by the Pine Hills Adventist Eagles to the tune of 54-17 thanks in part to Smith, who posted 26 points. The game was his tenth in a row with at least ten points.

Pine Hills Adventist's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Brennan Reese, who scored eight points along with five boards and three blocks, and David Ferolino, who put up five points.

Victory Christian is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Pine Hills Adventist, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-8.

Victory Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-42 defeat against Sacramento Waldorf on the 4th.
