Volleyball Recap: Credo Takes a Loss

Credo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Kelseyville Knights, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

While Credo was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-23, 25-11.

Credo's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Kelseyville, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Credo will face off against rival Anderson Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Kelseyville is set to challenge their familiar foe Lower Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in the Knights' favor as the team sits on eight straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while the Trojans have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
