Baseball Recap: Jordan Takes a Loss

Jordan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Katy Tigers. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 7-2 to the Tigers when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Owen Wendt was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run over 4.2 innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Luis Vera made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Jordan's loss dropped their record down to 14-10-1. As for Katy, they pushed their record up to 18-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

While Jordan had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
