Moss Point entered their tilt with Pass Christian on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victor by a 46-24 margin over the Pass Christian Pirates. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 77th, while the Pirates are ranked 247th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Moss Point is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 18-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.2 points per game. As for Pass Christian, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-22.
