Football Recap: El Reno's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

El Reno can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They came out on top against the Lawton Wolverines by a score of 30-22. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 33-20 victory the Wolverines walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

El Reno's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-5. As for Lawton, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. El Reno will welcome Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. The Indians will be up against the Bears' rather soft defense (which has allowed 39.86 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Lawton, they will look to defend their home field on the 24th against Carl Albert at 7:00 p.m. The Wolverines will need to watch out since the Titans have now posted at least 31 points in their last four contests.
