Jose Aguayo gave up the fewest walks he has since back in March of 2024 on Thursday. Nobody could stop him as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over 5.2 innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Sierra Vista is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-13 otherwise.

Aguayo and Sierra Vista will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Garey at 3:30 p.m. on the 29th.
