Hagerman and Tatum are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2021, but not for long. The Bobcats will face off against the Coyotes at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

It was a proper cat-fight when Hagerman took on Eunice on Tuesday. The Bobcats fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 3-2. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since November 7, 2023, but that streak is no more.

The 3-2 doesn't really show just how close this match was: all the sets Hagerman lost were decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-23, 23-25, 14-25, 25-22, 16-14.

Meanwhile, Tatum didn't have quite enough to beat Jal on Tuesday and fell 3-2. While the Coyotes didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Panthers 25-17 in the first set.

Tatum actually scored more points across those five sets (105-104), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-23, 22-25, 25-20, 15-12.

Hagerman now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Tatum, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-7.

Hagerman couldn't quite get it done against Tatum in their previous meeting two weeks ago as they fell 3-1. Can the Bobcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
