Recap: Plymouth South Panthers vs. Hingham Harbormen
With a playoff game on the line, the Plymouth South Panthers rose to the challenge on Thursday. They put the hurt on Hingham with a sharp 42-21 victory. Considering Plymouth South has won five matchups by more than 20 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Plymouth South to victory, but perhaps none more so than Justin LaChance, who rushed for 71 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 78 receiving yards. LaChance's longest reception was for an incredible 78 yards. Gio Lynch-ruberio also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Plymouth South has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Hingham, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
After each having a week off, Plymouth South and Plymouth North will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 10:00 a.m. on November 23rd. As for Hingham, they have the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Scituate at 10:00 a.m. on November 23rd.
