Football Recap: Malverne Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Malverne was not quite West Hempstead's equal in the second half on Saturday. They fell 21-14 to the Rams. The Mules were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Malverne now has a losing record of 1-2. As for West Hempstead, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Malverne will challenge rival North Shore on Saturday. Meanwhile, West Hempstead is set to face off against their familiar foe Island Trees on Saturday.
