Basketball Game Preview: Lewisville Farmers vs. Hebron Hawks

Lewisville is 2-8 against Hebron since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Lewisville Farmers will head out on the road to take on the Hebron Hawks at 12:00 p.m. Hebron took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Lewisville, who comes in off a win.

Lewisville is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 73-42 victory over Midlothian. Winning may never get old, but the Farmers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Meanwhile, Hebron came up short against Judson on Saturday and fell 48-35. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 228th, while the Rockets are ranked tenth).

Hebron's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Lewisville, their win bumped their record up to 13-10.

Lewisville was dealt a bruising 72-44 loss at the hands of Hebron when the teams last played back in January. Can Lewisville avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
