Baseball Recap: Carter Comes Up Short

Carter was the 13-0 winner over Gatlinburg-Pittman when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Green Hornets fell just short of the Highlanders by a score of 5-4 on Friday.

Carter's loss dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Gatlinburg-Pittman, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-12 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Gatlinburg-Pittman beat Carter by a score of 2-1 later that day.
