Calera came tearing into Thursday's match with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Tishomingo Indians get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Calera pushed their record up to 15-1 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Tishomingo, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

Calera has already played their next game, a 14-3 defeat against Latta on the 11th. As for Tishomingo, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 9-8 win against Mill Creek on the 10th.
