Basketball Recap: Bloomingdale Snags Third Win in Last Four Games

Bloomingdale lost to Booker back in January of 2020, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Bloomingdale Bulls came out on top against the Booker Tornadoes by a score of 61-54.

Noelle Mengel continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 22 points. Another player making a difference was Jennie Gutman, who went 5 for 10 en route to 10 points and five boards.

Despite the loss, Booker still got an impressive performance from Brianna Behn, who went 7 of 10 on her way to 20 points and eight rebounds. Marayah Stuart was another key player, going 5 for 10 en route to 15 points and three steals.

Bloomingdale is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.0 points per game. As for Booker, they dropped their record down to 10-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Bloomingdale will challenge Wharton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Booker, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 72-35 victory against Plant on the 18th.
