Recap: Limon Badgers vs. Y Yuma
The Limon Badgers put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 48-6 win over Y. The result was nothing new for Limon, who have now won eight contests by 21 points or more so far this season.
Among those leading the charge was Jordan Rockwell, who rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, and also threw for 99 yards and two touchdowns on only six passes. Lohgan Bottjer was in the mix as well, providing Limon with two touchdowns.
Limon's victory was their ninth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 9-0. It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 7-1 Holyoke and 10-2 Strasburg (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 61.5% over those games). As for Y, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
Limon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Y also has no future games currently scheduled.
