Basketball Recap: Paw Paw Comes Up Short

Paw Paw entered their matchup against Niles on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Paw Paw Red Wolves took a 65-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Niles Vikings. If the Red Wolves were looking for revenge after losing 59-49 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Having lost for the first time this season, Paw Paw fell to 5-1. As for Niles, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Paw Paw will be home for the holidays to greet Culver Academies at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Niles will take on Mishawaka Marian in a holiday battle at at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
