Basketball Game Preview: Humphreys County Cowboys vs. Simmons Blue Devils

Humphreys County and Simmons are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The Cowboys will be playing in front of their home fans against the Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Humphreys County is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

On Saturday, Humphreys County ended up a good deal behind Leake County and lost 52-37.

Meanwhile, Simmons played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 65-41 to O'Bannon. The Blue Devils have struggled against the Greenwaves recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Humphreys County's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Simmons, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Humphreys County beat Simmons 73-63 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Blue Devils' Prentavis Madison, who went 14-for-27 on his way to 31 points and four steals.
