Cor Jesu Academy will bounce into Thursday's game after beating St. Joseph's Academy, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Everything went Cor Jesu Academy's way against St. Joseph's Academy last Tuesday as Cor Jesu Academy made off with a 65-42 victory. The Chargers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Ursuline Academy humbled Villa Duchesne with a 75-15 victory. Given the Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 39th, while the Saints are ranked 351st), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ursuline Academy is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Cor Jesu Academy, their record now sits at 9-2.

Cor Jesu Academy came up short against Ursuline Academy when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 60-51. Can Cor Jesu Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
