Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mechanicsville). They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Varina Blue Devils on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for Mechanicsville in their matchups with Varina: they've now won seven in a row.

Mechanicsville's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those three matchups.
