Basketball Recap: Foothills Christian Snags Seventh Win in Last Eight Games

Foothills Christian won the last time they faced San Diego Jewish Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Foothills Christian Knights blew past the San Diego Jewish Academy Lions 50-24.

Joey Turk was his usual excellent self, putting up 16 points. Jack Sudi was another key player, scoring ten points.

Despite the loss, San Diego Jewish Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Boaz Koffler posted nine points along with six boards and five steals.

Foothills Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 17-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.4 points over those games. As for San Diego Jewish Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-14.

Foothills Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 71-43 win against Calvin Christian on the 14th. As for San Diego Jewish Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-48 victory against Classical Academy on the 13th.
