Basketball Game Preview: White Cloud Indians vs. Kent City Eagles

White Cloud is 1-9 against Kent City since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The White Cloud Indians will host the Kent City Eagles at 7:00 p.m.

Last Wednesday, White Cloud was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 55-49 to Pentwater. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 433rd, while the Falcons are ranked 211th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Kent City, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against Fremont by a score of 60-48 on Tuesday.

White Cloud's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3. As for Kent City, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Everything came up roses for White Cloud against Kent City when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 68-39 victory. Will White Cloud repeat their success, or does Kent City have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
