If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Fair Grove. It's a road trip for them on Friday as they take on Yellville-Summit at 7:00 PM. Fair Grove don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.

After a dominant win in their match two weeks ago, Fair Grove were humbled last Friday. They took a 22-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of Buffalo. Fair Grove's defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Yellville-Summit, and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to six. They were dealt a punishing 6-43 loss at the hands of Clinton. Yellville-Summit were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 6-28.
